A young girl stood on the beach. She couldn't be any older than 16. She shivered in the chilling wind. She wore only a pair of light blue short shorts and a partly ripped black tank top. She was completely bare foot and it looked to be as if she she was standing on ice. Her hair was a vibrant orange, messy and blown about by the wind. She looked aorund and saw no one. The ice seemed to be spreading around her. She shivered not really from the cold but more from fear. A leaf blowing in the brushed her shoulder lightly and froze, falling to the ground. She looked scared beyond belief. Her vibrant purple eyes like pools of fear.

He had decided to take an evening stroll to help clear his head and to figure out if he'd made the right decision.

The girl looked around. She sensed another wolf nearby. She shivered in place. Too afraid to move. Too afraid to speak.

He eventually had walked around to come within twenty feet or so of the newcomer and finally he felt something besides his thoughts and turned to see the little girl.

She locked eyes on him. Her breathing becoming odd. the ice started to spread out further.

He looked to the ground and saw the ice.

What are you?

She looked at him.
"Half human, half wolf."

And let me guess you're alone and have come here to look for shelter.

She looked at him.
"I guess. I'm not sure how I got here."

How can you be unsure of how you got to where you're now

She looked at him.
"I was sleep in my attic house and then I woke up on a boat that dropped me off here."
