Wandering the Halls

Alice was wandering the halls in her usual black shirt and red skirt. Her feet barefoot as usual. Her ears were perked up a bit so she could hear better and her tail just not really moving. It was dark in the room. The only light was that cast from the fire. She was looking for Victor, since he hadn't been in his office.
"That vampire is always going missing on me."
Alice looked around the room, wondering if he was hiding in the shadows as vampires tend to do. She stole in the doorway, scanning.

Walking around pondering his thoughts of the newcomers he took no thought to how loud he was walking.

Alice hears someone walking rather loudly. She turns around and sees Victor.
"Jeez Vic, could you being walking any louder?"

Her voice reminds him that he's not alone here and he begins paying attention again.

He never quite knew how to take relationships for he'd been alive for several hundred years and he'd avoided anything attachments but he had begun to enjoy the company of Alice. He steps to and wraps his arms around her.

Alice smiles at Victor. She'd known him for what felt like forever. Basically since she was twelve. Even though she only looked about 19, she was actually somewhere in her thirties.

Alice looked at the floor. Victor noticed that sometimes she still acted like she was twelve.

Well we could climb the tower and sit atop it like when we use to when you were younger.

Alice enjoyed Victor's company. However, sometimes she got annoyed with the fact that he still sometimes saw her as that little girl still.
