Wandering the Halls

Someday my mind will see the present instead the past.

Alice didn't look at him.
"Yeah, when I'm a hundred and four."
Alice mumble softly hoping he didn't hear.

He barely heard but didn't make any response.

Alice without realizing it leaned her head against victor's shoulder.

He wrapped an arm around her.

Alice looked up at him.

Do you still want to climb the tower?

Alice smiles weakly.
"Sure."

He unwrapped his arm and took a step up on the ledge and began climbing up.

Alice followed him.

They reached a small nook in the wall and he sat on the edge and held his hand out to Alice.

Alice took his hand.

He pulled her up.

Been a while since we were last up here.

Alice smirked.
"Yeah, it has been."

Do you think this place will ever be like it was.

Alice looked at Victor.
"Only time will tell, Vic."

Well I guess so but I'd rather know now to be honest.

Alice smirked and then leaned her head against Victor.
"You always were an impatient one, Vic."

True being immortal in a way has had its affects.

Alice giggled.
"You'd think if anything it would teach you patience."

Yeah right its boring as hell sometimes.

Alice turned his face so he was looking into her eyes.
"Then you find a way to pass the time."

He recalled his past

Yeah some of those were not the best of things but right now has been pretty good.

Alice rolled her eyes and huffed.
'Your being difficult, Vic.'
