It seemed so familiar then his mind placed it.

It's blood.

A fearful look crossed his face.

"It's probably nothing to worry about. I've heard rumors of vampires here."

As she finished her sentence he got the he had gotten when he traveled through time and the room became still. It took him a moment to realize it and when he saw the world around him was frozen in place he headed towards a door where the smell had come. He shoved it open and to his shocking discovery found the cooks had been gathering blood in large pots. He moved away from the door his body started to become heavy as he collapsed and time returned to normal.

Elizabeth wondered how Dexter got over to where he was but she ran over.
"What the hell? Dexter, can you hear me?"
